Well, I wrote this post last weekend... and somehow it disappeared from the draft posts....
So here we go again!
We enjoyed a festive and happy long Valentine's/President's Day weekend two weeks back!
The girls got to bring treats in for their school Valentine celebrations.
Mckenna brought in bubble Valentine's, while Norah brought in applesauce "squeeze me" Valentine's.
Both girls brought their teachers a little Valentine treat Dunkin Donuts gift card!
This little tootsie was VERY excited for Valentine's Day.... like "What times our family party for Valentine's Day?" excited. She enjoyed her new book, "Twas the Night Before Valentine's Day"
A special Valentine breakfast all set up for my girls!
And some Valentine's and treats!
Enjoying their donuts!
To make Valentine's Day even better, Mckenna decided to pull her second tooth that morning!
All by herself!
After donuts and tooth pulling, we had swim lessons!
And to make our day even crazier, Mckenna convinced me to rearrange her room....
AFTER
Enjoying their new mermaid tanks.... don't ask!
The girls got new alarm clocks on Valentine's Day (unrelated to the holiday)....
We are working on some MAJOR "stay in your room and bed" training.
The new clocks are awesome because they light up green when its "OK to Wake"!
And the best part is Mommy programs them to decide when it's OK TO WAKE!
Geared up for the Tooth Fairy!
Mckenna's "new room" includes a reading nook made from our old crib matress...
she of course needed to sleep there!
On Monday (President's Day) we headed to the dentist.
It was Norah's first visit!
Mckenna had a check-up too! Her last visit did not go well for her (overtired)...
thankfully this time she did much better!!
Happy to have healthy teeth!
After the dentist we went to check out some new softball gear!
Someone got a new glove!!
Of course she loved the pink and yellow cleats!
Lunch date!
Mckenna drew a tooth holding a toothbrush! I had to share it with our dentist's wife (I am friends with her).
Post-lunch banana bread baking!
On Tuesday we were up at Mckenna's school prepping the art walls!
The theme for Kindergarten is "North America" and her class has the United States!
And finally.... meet Swimmie!
Mckenna earned a pet fish for having some FANTASTIC nights of sleep!
Those new alarm clocks are GREAT!!!
