Cousins

Last Sunday we got to spend the afternoon hanging out with Baby Brayden 

(oh and Bill and Michelle!). 

Mckenna was very excited to go over and meet her sweet new cousin!

If you look closely, you can see our Prince Charming doll on Michelle's lap. Mckenna brought over some of her "guys" (dolls) and needed to bring Prince Charming for Brayden to play with. She told me, "Mom, he's the prince so he needs a prince." Well, yes he does!

Weekend Love

It's Wednesday and I'm finally getting around to posting about our weekend. 

I will be writing two more posts about some of our fun weekend events, but here is the summary!

Swim Lesson Fun!!

Norah apparently thought it looked comfy to lay down on the pool deck.

Mckenna has been doing really well at swim lessons!! She is one strong little swimmer!

Norah LOVES all things water, bubbles, toothbrushes, toothpaste... anything messy!

I needed to occupy her for a few minutes Saturday... sink full of bubbles won!

Saturday afternoon we also had Kate's birthday party!
Mckenna was so excited to celebrate with her best friend!

Saturday was one busy day...
Mommy Mckenna date night to Disney on Ice!!!

Sunday we enjoyed going to visit and meet Baby Brayden!!
Norah loved his carseat!!!

The one thing that occupied her for more than 15 seconds!

Whew! I still tired thinking of how busy we were! 

These weekends are tough cramming in LOADS of fun!!

It's A Prince

We have been waiting and waiting for his arrival... and he is finally here!! 

Meet our new nephew/cousin!

Brayden Emmett arrived Thursday night (September 12th) at 

7:24pm weighing in at 8lbs. 2oz. and 22 inches long!

Jim and I got to be up at the hospital waiting for him to arrive!

We didn't know whether we were waiting for a little boy or girl... 

He was a prince! 

That was my positive spin to Mckenna who was eagerly awaiting a little girl!

I took tons of pictures that night... this one may be my favorite. It's not a very "good" picture, but that may be the happiest smile I have ever seen on my BIL's face!

Love this one too!
