The Roxy Halloween Event

Saturday we attended a fun Halloween event downtown Lockport!
There's an old movie theater called The Roxy that a group of people is revitalizing and trying to open again. They hosted a parade and Halloween event as a fundraiser for the theater!

Today the girls chose their Elsa and Anna costumes as the costumes of choice!

Marley the Monkey came with for a visit!

We ran into a friend of Mckenna's from school and her family... another Elsa and Anna sister combo!
Our little Anna refused the picture!

Mckenna and her sweet friend Ashlyn had a fun time together! They were too cute!
Marley learned the chicken dance!

There's our Anna!

After a little dance party, we headed into a tent with cute little kiddie activities...
complete with balloons and candy.

There was even face painting!

Did you know that at every kid event you go to the longest line EVER is for face painting?
Did you know that there is only ever ONE person painting faces at these events?
Yep. True story. Always.

Too distracted by the Thriller dance!

Weekend

Well in case you haven't caught on the only blogging I do is from my phone these days! And even with that I experience darn technical difficulties most days, so my posts are pictures only and end up getting posted in mass groups. Oh well!

We are keeping mighty busy this summer....
Let's take it back to Jim's birthday weekend at the end of June!

We started Jim's birthday off with the Homer Glen Independence Day parade!
The girls had a great time collecting TONS of candy!

Norah wanted to open every piece of candy as she received it. We had to be quick to scoop them off the road before she did! Thankfully she would take one or two licks of something and be done with it!

Ha! After the parade we headed to the "chicken wing store" for lunch!
Happy Birthday Daddy!
Mckenna proudly told the waitress IMMEDIATELY that it was her Dad's birthday! Lol!

Ha! Daddy didn't like that!

We had some fun visitors join us for our evening get together!
Cousin love!

Norah and Alex are super good buddies!

And we know Norah loves her TeeTee

Happy Birthday Babe!

Sister Shot!

Yikes!

Birthday cake after dinner!

Happy birthday Jim! You are so loved!!

The neighbor's had a fireworks display for Jim's birthday!

Irish Girls

Last Sunday was the Southside Irish Parade.
In true form, we headed down to Pops' house for the parade and a family lunch.
I still have more pictures to download of the day, but here's what we captured for the day on my phone!

One smiling Irish Girl

One would think our little picture time would go well....

But Norah was NOT having it!

Looks much worse than it was!!!

Poor Norah! Couldn't even muster a smile for a group shot!

It was a CHILLY day for the parade, so our snow suits made an appearance again!

Norah catching the birds eye view with Uncle Bill

And Mckenna with Daddy

Norah was more interested in Brayden

Quick family shots!

There's the happy little baby!

Norah and Brayden attacking Daddy's beer!
