Christmas Kick-Off

This year we kicked off our holiday season with an outing to the Lockport Christmas in the Square!

We enjoyed the train rides!

And the fun guys walking around to greet us while we waiting in line for Santa!

We had bought our Christmas Tree that morning, so we came home to decorate it!

How Lovely Are Thy Branches

We tried a new little adventure this year and trekked out cut down our own Christmas tree. And by "trekked" I mean drove to a tree farm in Downers Grove and cut down a tree! All and all it was a fun little adventure! 

Daddy is a bit particular about Christmas trees... so we did a lot of walking and looking!
