First Christmas

On Christmas Day Norah was sitting on the floor in front of me while we opened gifts, played and hung out. As I mentioned in my previous post, I got a new lens for Christmas (Nikon 35mm, f1.8) so I spent a lot of time taking pictures of my sweet baby on her first Christmas!

My Christmas posts got so long that I saved some of the Norah only pictures for this post!

LOVE this smile!!!

Reaching for that tree!!

Maybe if I move this way I can get it!!

Christmas Morning

We got to celebrate Christmas morning at our house as a little family of four!
It was so much fun!! I love that we have this time together in midst of the business of the holidays!!

Norah and Daddy waiting with Mommy for Mckenna to wake up!
We had a late night the night before.. so Mckenna slept until 8:30!!!

I wasn't sure what her reaction would be when waking up...
if she would even remember that it was Christmas. I was watching her on the monitor while sleeping. Around 8:30am she sat up in bed, so I had Jim run up there to get her! She sat up in her bed when Jim walked in and said, "Did Santa come?"

She was looking for her glass slippers right away... we had to open stockings first, though!

Mckenna enjoyed finding an Ariel Pez, Play Doh, lip gloss, stickers and princess socks in her stocking!

Daddy filmed our opening session... Mckenna showing off her princess magnets!

Norah liked Mckenna's stickers too!
In her stocking she loved the puffs she got!

Mckenna helped Norah open her stocking, while Norah clung to the stickers Mckenna got!
Yummy Mums in Norah's stocking, along with puffs, lotion, a new sippy cup and a couple of little toys.

Time for the Santa gift!
Santa brought each girl one present!

GLASS SLIPPERS!!!!
The pictures tell it all!

Yes, Santa brought Norah a present too!

A walker that plays lots of musical sounds!!

Sofia the First

Norah was satisfied with letting Mckenna go to town and just munching on a Mum from Santa!

Doc McStuffins Doctor Kit!!

Helping Daddy open his gift!

The madness!!!
Yes, there are two little girls in the middle of that mess somewhere!

Sweetie Pie Norah had a fun morning!!

It was so much fun to watch Mckenna love every second of our Christmas morning! She was beyond thrilled with getting the glass slippers she had been waiting for since October! The little sweetie never changed her Christmas Wish List over the 6-8 weeks that we were talking about the holidays!!
