Today

Well "today" was Thursday!

A trip to the zoo with Dad!

Mom organized the craft supplies while they were gone 

(among other things when you get to be all alone at home for 4 hours!!!)

That afternoon Mckenna decided she was done with training wheels!

I'm not so sure they will be staying off... but its a step in the right direction!

We had some fun at the park!

July 3rd! 

Happy Anniversary to my hubs!!

In addition to celebrating our anniversary, we also spent the 3rd celebrating at the Lockport fireworks!

That afternoon Mckenna found my crazy visor from my bachelorette party. I didn't care for that thing! Of course my glam girl LOVES it!

Sweet Brayden came to visit us and have a picnic at the park with us in the afternoon!

They also had fun splashing in their clothes!

Brayden thinks Mckenna and Norah are crazy! He headed off to play with Daddy and Uncle Jim at the basketball court!

Spring Has (finally) Arrived!!!

The weather finally topped 50 degrees today!!! Yea!!! 

To celebrate we spent nearly the whole day outside!

Mckenna's bike had a flat....  So she fixes that!

Two trips to the park kept us busy too!!

I love seeing what this girl can learn to do at the park after a winter indoors!

Fun Time Thursday

We had a fun little day today and I am actually blogging about it in the present! Amazing!

Mckenna had gymnastics this morning and then we ran over to a park district event called 

Puppets in the Park! We saw a puppet show/play at the band shell in the park! 

The girls really enjoyed it. Norah even sat and watched the first 30 minutes!

After heading home for lunch and naps, we headed off on a bike ride to the park.
Mckenna is getting really strong on her bike and can ride off down the block on her own. 

She has learned to stop at the corners or whenever I tell her she needs to.

Norah likes to cruise in blue car style!

We splashed at the splash pad and then did some playing. 

Norah was trying to get Mckenna to go in the baby swing next to her!

For dinner tonight I made a whole roast chicken and some corn on the cob. 

Norah enjoyed some corn!!!

She ate (sucked) on the cob for a good 20 minutes!

We wrapped up our evening with some homemade milkshakes, baths and early bedtimes!!
