Every girl likes to shop

It has been a random kind of day. We didn't do much all morning and early afternoon. Just lounged, played and went on a walk. This afternoon Jim and I got to go on a date, while Mckenna spent some time with Grandma. We went to Chi Tung: YUM! I secretly want to go eat my leftovers right now, but the microwave runs really loud and little lady is sleeping!


Yesterday Mckenna started brushing Tigger and saying, "Baby" while she brushed him! I just started laughing... and ran to grab the camera!!

She then decided that she needed to play with my wallet and dumped everything on to the floor. I quickly scooped up the important things and let her go to town with some random gift cards and old work id's.

And what does every little lady do when she has mommy's wallet.... go shopping, of course!

It has been awhile since I downloaded pictures from my phone, so I had a few random ones to post...

Last week when I took Mckenna to the doctor they did another blood test on her. She does so well with the finger pricks, but doesn't like band-aids on her fingers!


2 weeks ago we had some REALLY bad weather. Jim was down at the Sox game tailgating while the tornado sirens were going off. I was home in the basement with Mckenna! She was making some silly faces!!

Our first nite staying here with Pops was a bit rough for Mckenna... she was up a could of times and up waaay to early for the day! Jim got her to sleep while I was making a coffee run! Too sweet!

Yes, it has been awhile once again.... hopefully I will get back in the swing once school is over. We have 2 more days. Thank goodness!

Back on May 23rd we accepted an offer on our house!! Yeah!! After a long process of trying to sell, we finally did. It was only on the market for about 4 1/2 months this time around, but the memories of the year it was listed before haunt us! The buyer wants to close July 1st, so we have been BUSY packing and trying to get things in line because we don't have a house to buy yet....

Or so we thought! Last weekend we found a house that just so happens to be a foreclosure. We thought we were in for a LONG grueling process of dealing with the bank... however much to our surprise after officially submitting an offer in on Friday morning, the bank responded with a counter on Friday afternoon! Upon confirmation of a couple of odds and ends details, we will be accepting their counter!! Holy Moly! What have we gotten into!! Hopefully the process goes smooth. Next up would be the inspection. We know that there are a couple of serious things that we need to have looked at, so hopefully nothing else will spring up in the mean time. We could, and I emphasize, could, be on our way to having a house sooner than expected.

On to the star of the show.... she has been a busy little girl lately. She is pulling up on EVERYTHING and going after Sox and Milo with full force! She is standing in her crib, the pack and play and wants to be down on the floor 24/7. Here are some recent pictures to capture the latest and greatest....
