Weekend happenings...

We had a pretty low key weekend!
We ditched our swim lessons since the weather was bad. Instead we scootered around!

And played in our sensory box!

The easel made it back upstairs.... Which meant we had to play school! Mckenna made me smile as she showed me how she can count by tens from 10-100!

Saturday afternoon Mckenna had a birthday party at a friends house!

Sunday afternoon we squeezed in a little date and went to see the Frozen sing-a-long!

Norah loved the addition of the exersaucer... We brought it up for Brayden to play in!

Feeding their sweet cousin!

Norah had to feed her baby while Auntie Michelle fed Brayden!

Sweet Super Bowl gang!

Cousins

Last Sunday we got to spend the afternoon hanging out with Baby Brayden
(oh and Bill and Michelle!).
Mckenna was very excited to go over and meet her sweet new cousin!

Daddy got ahold of the little man first!

Love these sweet pictures

Poor Brayden! You don't know what your in for!!

Mckenna was shielding his eyes from my camera! Too funny!

Cousins!

Well, we tried for a nice picture!!

Norah giving his little tootsies a squeeze. We are working on "gentle!"

If you look closely, you can see our Prince Charming doll on Michelle's lap. Mckenna brought over some of her "guys" (dolls) and needed to bring Prince Charming for Brayden to play with. She told me, "Mom, he's the prince so he needs a prince." Well, yes he does!

Rally Day, Football and Harvest Day

Today was our back to church Rally Day!
We dressed in some of our Sunday finest and headed off on our day with church and Sunday School!

I thought my girls looked especially cute (of course a little biased!) so we took a few pics before heading out!

She was screaming "NA" and hitting the stair.
Apparently Mckenna was supposed to come sit down by her!!

Meet trouble!

After a long morning at church, we headed home for lunch, naps and football clothes!!
Although we didn't plan to watch the Bears game, I thought we could don some festive Bears gear!

TOUCHDOWN!!!

Well, my girls had other plans for nap time. Their plans involved anything BUT napping!
So.... I said forget the fights and we popped over the Homer Harvest Days going on down the road from our house. We have never been since living here, so we gave it a shot.

Pony Rides... check!
Norah was having NOTHING of the pony rides!

Face Painting. Check!

Bales of Hay... check!
Norah did NOT like the hay.
Are we sensing a "I really should be napping right now so I hate everything theme? Yes"

Watching a sheep get sheared while sitting on hay bales... check!

Pumpkin tractor ride... check!

Guess what Norah wasn't having!

Ahhh... Norah LOVED the petting zoo! Hi Animals!!!

Feeding animals... check!

Finally nap time.... check!

My girls finally got some naps... and were still in bed asleep by 8pm.
We had a busy, exhausting and FUN weekend!!!
