Too Much

This little girl is just too much!

She has become OBSESSED with wearing her sisters shirts... seriously, I am afraid for the future!!

She likes to pull them out of the drawer at bed time and often sleeps in them!

Last week at ballet she was a little mad scientist with her drawings... also a new obsession!

She will draw and color and then hold it up for praise and approval!

Love this crazy little girl!

Hair Cut & Paper

Today we headed to get Mckenna's bangs trimmed up. She definitely has my hair that grows like a weed! She did great again in the salon and while getting her hair cut.

On the way home, Mckenna enjoyed some drawing and coloring in the car. I need to find her one of those little plastic lap desks

Once we finally made it home, we spent some time playing outside with our neighbor friends. Mckenna and Katie were playing in Allie's Barbie Jeep! I am sure they will spend many fun summer days playing together in the future!

Today they enjoyed turning the radio off and on! They were laughing away!!

Quick Bite

On Sunday night we went out for a quick bite to eat! Mckenna loves getting crayons and coloring sheets at restaurants. She does pretty well drawing and coloring and it definitely keeps her busy!

Time

Where does time go? Seriously... these days just tick on by so quickly. It makes me sad.

We have been busy getting ready for our week of entertaining. Last night we had some friends over to watch the Monday Night Football game/Bears Game... the weather didn't really cooperate, so we only had 4 friends/family and LOTS of food! I will say that we did our fair share of gobbling it down though!

The number of presents around our trees have been growing in anticipation of our celebrations this week. Since we are hosting both Christmas Eve and Day, there are numerous piles designated for which party they belong to. Mckenna didn't seem to notice them at all until after her party on Thursday at Sharon's house... now she walks into the room and says, "oooh!"

On Saturday I caught her eying them up again!

On Sunday morning I introduced Mckenna to Colorwonder. In my search for something to occupy her time in the car, Colorwonder was suggested....

She definitely got the concept and liked doing it....
And it was nice that she could go into the family room or be in a chair while coloring...

Gosh!! She looks SOOO big here!!!

After we finally got dressed on Sunday, she had to have a snack with her little friend. Apparently baby likes raisins too!
