Spring Break: Day 4

Thursday was a fun day for us!! 

We have made some recent changes to our TV viewing at home ( AKA cancelled the cable) ......
This was Norah's first time laying and watching a show on the iPad. 

On Thursday we headed to the Beverly Arts Center to see the play Sleeping Beauty!

Fun Time Thursday

We had a fun little day today and I am actually blogging about it in the present! Amazing!

Mckenna had gymnastics this morning and then we ran over to a park district event called 

Puppets in the Park! We saw a puppet show/play at the band shell in the park! 

The girls really enjoyed it. Norah even sat and watched the first 30 minutes!

After heading home for lunch and naps, we headed off on a bike ride to the park.
Mckenna is getting really strong on her bike and can ride off down the block on her own. 

She has learned to stop at the corners or whenever I tell her she needs to.

Norah likes to cruise in blue car style!

We splashed at the splash pad and then did some playing. 

Norah was trying to get Mckenna to go in the baby swing next to her!

For dinner tonight I made a whole roast chicken and some corn on the cob. 

Norah enjoyed some corn!!!

She ate (sucked) on the cob for a good 20 minutes!

We wrapped up our evening with some homemade milkshakes, baths and early bedtimes!!

Day at the Ballet

Last Sunday we headed off to see a Disney Storybook Ballet. This was put on in DeKalb by an area dance company. 

We were just coming off of our Mickey LIVE performance and sleepover from the night before! 

Emma was with us to head back home for the ballet.

Mckenna was playing on my phone while we ate lunch. I looked through my pictures and had some great ones! Including of the waitress, her food... too funny!

They just look so big now!

Norah is a squirmy 10 month old, but Mckenna doesn't care!

Girls ONLY!

The show was really good! It featured Ariel, Belle, Aladdin, and Snow White. 

During the Ariel story, Mckenna yelled out "YEA Ariel!" It was so cute! She got very embarrassed!
