Trip to the Farm

While Daddy was out of town a couple of weeks back, the girls and I enjoyed a fun filled GIRL day complete with a trip to The Farm!
This was our first trip to The Farm and we had so much fun!!

We got to take a hayride out to the actual pumpkin patch... like vines attached to the pumpkins growing in the ground! I'm tired of pumpkin patches with no patches!

And their favorite the corn play area. I may build one of these at home next year!

The got to pet cows, goats, and sheep... the weren't too sure about touching pigs and chickens!

We had a fun day and will be heading back their next year for more fun!!

Konow's Farm

Yesterday after work and school, we headed over to Konow's Farm for some "family fun!"
Yes, I put that in quotes because apparently my hubby doesn't define family fun as an outdoor pumpkin patch when its 42 degrees outside. I on the other hand will welcome this family fun!

Bouncy Pillows

Norah's first time

Girl LOVED it!

Heading over to the cow train

We got to warm up a bit in the corn barn

Norah DID NOT like it one bit!

Cannon Ball!

Practicing swimming in the corn

While Mckenna played out her little heart in the corn bin,
Norah found another activity to amuse herself.

Sorry to the little boy who left his shoes right near the pile of corn kernals.
Hope he shook them out!

Oooh! You would think we tortured her in the corn!

Getting brave again...

Yep! Bad idea!

We also had some fun riding the tractors!

Norah loved these little ones!

Mckenna declared these "the worst bikes ever"...
and then she got the hang of them and they were the best!

Family fun was had by 3 of the 4 of us!

Pumpkin Patch

On Sunday we headed off on what has become the "Annual VanAllen Trip to the Pumpkin Patch".

Yikes, Alex is getting too big!!

Heading into the Haunted House.
Yes, Mckenna went. And she will also probably NEVER go in one again!

Mckenna has a love of all "different" looking pumpkins!

Sweet girl just woke up!

Goat on the roof?

Momma has a love for pictures of kids with pumpkins!

And seriously... this girls outfit!! She actually didn't complain about it!!

More cousins were with us!

To say that the pumpkin patch was crowded was an understatement. Yuck!
They have added a bunch of rides to the farm, so poor Auntie Amy waited in line with Emma and Mckenna for the fun slide. For 50 minutes!

Heading on up...

Ready to go! All by herself!

Sweet thing just kind of sat there!

Can't beat pictures with the tractor!

What? I can only pick one?

Norah kept hugging them and wrapping her body around them! It was really funny!

Nana and her girls

This girl cracks me up.
She picked this warty, green and white and orange pumpkin!

So proud of her goofy little pumpkin!!
