Mickey Mouse & A Sleep Over

This afternoon we headed to the Rosemont Theater for Mickey Mouse LIVE!

She loved the bright lights and was dancing along with the music!

When the show started she said, "Ooooh!"

By the end of the show she was barefoot... but eating the socks and shoes kept her entertained!

Mckenna was super excited for Mickey Mouse, as well as Emma!

When we arrived we found out that the show was much more than Mickey Mouse... 

Jasmine, Ariel and Toy Store were all there as well!

Emma had fun... and she even admitted it was fun!

After Mickey Mouse we headed home for a sleepover! 

Mckenna was super excited for her first sleepover with Emma (without Emma's parents here with her)

Mckenna had BIG plans for this sleepover: dress-up, dance to princess music, play toys, paint nails, watch a movie, draw cards... I'm sure that I am forgetting something! 

She was forgetting that we would not be getting home until 6:30 and that poor Emma is 5 years older than her and doesn't find some of those things very appealing! 

Emma's a trooper, though... she dressed up, played toys, drew cards, ate pizza and muffins and watched Monsters Inc.

Bear

Snuggle bear time... this is one of Mckenna's favorite new things to do.

Minnie

Last weekend at a resale event, I scored an adorable little Minnie Mouse costume for my little dress up princess. She has been wearing it around, ears and all!

These are terrible pictures! Ha! I thought I got some better ones!
It is a Disney Store original in GREAT condition.... not bad for $2.00!
I LOVE the fact that it is the original red Minnie Mouse. I am not quite the fan of her new pink look!

Blocked

I have had to put some blocks to our site, which makes me really sad. I love blogging and love the blogging world... but I have had some issues with people viewing this site that I don't want seeing it. Sooo... for the moment this is what it comes to.

Trying to move on....

This is week has been a hard one... but this little one makes every day better!!

She wasn't mad... just intensely watching Mickey!!

We are still working on sitting on it the correct way.... she fell tonight and bumped her head!

AHHH

This morning when I went to brush Mckenna's teeth, she opened her mouth wide and said, AHHH! It made me start laughing so hard! It has been a challenge to brush her teeth, but over the last week she is finally letting me do it. She has been a champ lately with letting me do them at night; this morning she actually went in and pointed to the toothbrush for me to do them!!

Here is the little fashionista this morning! Loving on her Mickey Mouse! Or "Mi, Mi" as she likes to say!

Yep, one of the first cartoons that we are loving on... the animated Micky Mouse Club on the Disney Channel! At least it keeps her occupied while I am running around like a nut in the mornings!!

How long before she catches on that she is watching the same one over and over again because I have one episode DVR'd since it is only on at 7am?!?

In control of the remote since Daddy is already gone!
